Connection.
Empowerment.
Transformation.
When you attend a Second Summit Breast Cancer Adventure Retreat, you’ll rediscover your strength through nature, adventure, and community.
Your Second Summit Begins Here.
Life after breast cancer is more than recovery. It's about rediscovering your strength, rebuilding your confidence, and finding a community that understands where you've been—and where you're ready to go next.
Second Summit Retreats offers intimate, nature-based experiences where women reconnect with themselves through adventure, reflection, and meaningful relationships. Every retreat is thoughtfully designed to help you embrace what's possible beyond treatment and discover that your story is still unfolding.
A Place to Connect.
Healing doesn't happen in isolation. It happens around campfires, on wooded trails, snowshoe hiking mountain summits, on ropes courses, and paddling across quiet lakes, sharing stories with women who simply understand.
Our retreats combine adventure-based experiences, guided reflection, healing arts, and the restorative power of nature to create an environment where personal growth happens naturally.
No two journeys are the same, and no one has to walk theirs alone.
Who It’s For
Second Summit Retreats is designed for women navigating life after breast cancer who are ready to move beyond simply surviving.
Whether you've recently completed treatment or have been living as a survivor for years, these retreats provide space to reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with others who truly understand the unique challenges and triumphs of life after cancer.
You don't need to be an experienced hiker or athlete.
Our adventure activities are intentionally designed to meet you where you are, with accommodations for a wide range of abilities. The goal isn't physical achievement—it's discovering what you're capable of, one step at a time.

Some journeys change the course of your life forever.
For Cynthia Cote, that journey began more than thirty years ago with a breast cancer diagnosis that arrived at a time when survivorship resources were scarce, support groups were uncommon, and the emotional impact of cancer was often overlooked.
